- First, Engadget gets a bogus spoofed email from Apple stating the iPhone was getting pushed back a quarter and that the next version of OSX "Leopard" was getting pushed to January, which sent Apple’s stock tumbling down 4 billion dollars! That’s a sad day for a lot of folks who probably lost a good deal of their retirement money on buying and selling at the wrong time.
- Amazon issues a press release stating it’s also launching DRM-FREE MP3 downloads from all of EMI’s labels and more than 12,000 other labels. Looks like customers are finally getting what they demand and deserve, I might actually buy some music online now.
