Apple Accuses Microsoft of Being a Copy Cat, Only to Introduce a Vista Feature

August 8, 2006

Yesterday at Apple’s WWDC, the company spent more time and money advertising the fact that Microsoft copies features than they did showcasing their new flagship OS. It’s very childish—and sickening—listening to them talk about how much Vista copied. Its like Steve Jobs still hasn’t gotten over what was done to him all those years ago, when Billy boy 3wned him. I could almost stomach it until they started talking about a new Spotlight feature.

You see, in the new spotlight, you just start typing a few letters of the program you want to launch and press return to launch it. I remember having a huge argument with some Mac Freaks about how Microsoft’s new way of launching programs was the best way–much better than Apple’s method. And now you have it, Apple crying like a baby that Microsoft copies, and in the same breath of air, introduces a Vista feature of their own. Bravo! Steve Jobs at his finest.
